I just seasoned my first cast iron pan, and am feeling such love and appreciation for it. 8

Anyone have any idea about the origin of this skillet? It was inherited from my mother in law. The only marking I can find is the 8 stamped on the handle. Additionally, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a skillet with the hammer marks around the sides. It has a smooth bottom and cooks like a dream! 78
